Why Use Delete Duplicates?

Duplicate objects can cause various issues in your design:

  • Filled Objects Appear as Outlines: Duplicate shapes may render incorrectly in the workspace, even when View Style is set to Filled.
  • Objects Disappear in Preview: Overlapping shapes can cause elements to vanish in the Preview window.
  • Engraving Errors: Duplicates may lead to extra passes in Line Mode or engraving failures in Fill Mode.

Troubleshooting

If Delete Duplicates doesn’t detect or remove duplicates:

  • Make sure the objects are Ungrouped. Grouped objects cannot be processed by this tool.

With Delete Duplicates, you can optimize your workspace and eliminate potential errors in your LightBurn designs. Incorporate this tool into your workflow for cleaner and more efficient projects.
