The Main Window in LightBurn serves as the central hub for creating, editing, and managing laser designs. The default layout varies slightly depending on the type of laser you're using, such as GCode-based devices.

Default Layout Overview

A: Workspace / Edit Window

This is where you design, adjust, and arrange artwork within LightBurn. It acts as the canvas for all your projects.


Key Interface Elements

B: Menus

Contains LightBurn's top-level menus with a wide range of tools and features.

C: Main Toolbar

Includes essential functions for opening files, saving projects, clipboard actions (copy/paste), and adjusting the view.

D: Arrange Toolbar

Offers tools for positioning objects individually or in relation to others in your Workspace.

E: Numeric Edits Toolbar

Provides options for fine-tuning the size, position, and orientation of shapes or groups.

F: Text Options Toolbar
