A Guide to Navigating LightBurn's Menu Bar

The Menu Bar in LightBurn provides access to the software's top-level functions and features, enabling efficient navigation and project management.

Click on any menu in the image below to explore its specific features, or scroll down for a detailed list of menus and their descriptions.

Note:

On macOS, the menus appear at the top of the screen, separate from the LightBurn application window.


Menu Descriptions

File

The File menu includes options for saving, opening, importing, and exporting files. It also provides access to your LightBurn settings and enables you to export them for backup or transfer purposes.

Edit

The Edit menu offers tools for selecting and manipulating objects, as well as configuring program, device, and machine settings.

Arrange

The Arrange menu contains tools for positioning objects individually or in relation to each other. It also provides options for moving the laser relative to objects in your project.

Laser Tools

This menu provides advanced tools, tests, and step-by-step wizards for optimizing laser operations, fine-tuning settings, and configuring accessory hardware.

Window

The Window menu allows you to customize your workspace view by enabling or disabling windows and toolbars. You can also reset LightBurn's layout to its default state.

Language

The Language menu enables you to switch LightBurn's interface between 24 available languages for global accessibility.

Help

The Help menu offers links to LightBurn resources, access to the License Management window, and various diagnostic tools.
