      Understanding and Changing View Styles in LightBurn

      Switch Between Wireframe and Filled Views for Better Design Visualization

      The View Style feature in LightBurn allows you to switch between Wireframe and Filled rendering for vector graphics in your Workspace. This can help you spot design issues, visualize your project's final output, and streamline your editing process.

      Quick Reference: View Style

      • Purpose: Change how vector graphics are rendered in the Workspace for better visualization.
      • Access Points:
        • Window → Toggle Wireframe / Filled
      • Keyboard Shortcut:
        • Option/Alt + W

      Filled View

      • Appearance: Shapes assigned to layers set to Fill Mode are displayed as solid shapes.
      • Advantages:

        • May hide duplicate or unwanted shapes on overlapping layers.
        • Editing can be challenging as hidden shapes are harder to select.
        • Rendering may be slower on older or less-powerful computers.

      Wireframe View

      • Appearance: All vectors are displayed as outlines (strokes).
      • Advantages:
        • Makes design issues, such as overlapping or incomplete shapes, more obvious.
        • Faster rendering compared to Filled View.
      • Considerations:
        • Does not visually differentiate shapes assigned to Fill Mode layers.
        • Use the Preview feature to see the final result of your design.
